Planning to replace the pitot-static tubing behind the panel. Looking for feedback on the best materials to use. Is the plastic tubing with the push-on fittings now the de facto standard (such as the SteinAir components)? Are there different qualities of tubing? I just want to make sure I end up with a leak-free system. All feedback is much appreciated!

Any spec brand of polyethylene/nylon instrument line tubing and nylon fittings are good pitot/static materials. The specific brand I have used most is Swagelok. Aircraft Spruce has a good selection of different brand nylon fittings, inserts, and tubing which will work fine. For comparison, some purists prefer rubber Aeroquip 306 hose with AN metal swivel fittings vs the nylon tubing/fittings. Never used Stein Air products.
