I am Not trying to pimp my YouTube channel. I don't post my videos here anymore. If it feels that way, go ahead and delete this.

I got to do a lot of aerobatics in St. Augustine Florida last week and it was a tremendous amount of fun albeit completely out of my comfort zone.

My confidence was pretty high up until we got in the plane. Of course right?

Maneuvers I liked: Aileron Roll, Loop, Barrel roll, Immelmann, Split S and half Cuban

Maneuvers that are terrifying: Snap Roll, Invited Spin, and sustained inverted flight. What an unnatural feeling being suspended by a lap belt.

Biggest surprise was the sounds. You can hear the airflow shifting around the plane during different maneuvers.
We went through all of the gopro footage and the wing cam picks up the change in sound as airflow lifts off the top wing surface and then stops during accelerated stalls.

Every pilot should experience some form of this once.

Thanks and sorry if this feels like self promotion. Not the intent.

Hey, I've got some acro in that airplane. Anyone who hasn't experienced an inverted spin, or a Hammer Head, you really should try it!

Bryan, I love your videos: humorous, self deprecating, interesting. Never boring and no fake or manufactured drama. Two thumbs up. How do you do the shots where the plane spins around the camera?

Spencer has a 360 camera. I think this model here:
https://store.insta360.com/us/product/one_r

It is col and it sees everything which is fantastic. However, there is a temptation to over use it so I tried to only use footage from it sparingly so the video didn't become about the camera.
My favorite thing about it is its ability to track in 360 for example, being able to follow the floating water bottle form front to back in the first shot.

It is a cool camera and you can do cool stuff with it but the editing software for it is trash.
Just getting clips from that camera that I could use in premiere took hours. They need to work on their software.

Isn’t that airport the home of Patty Wagstaff?

Didn’t think the answer was going to make me laugh.

The guy who solicits the hardest of anyone here, for his current or former employer (he won’t say.... but we al know who it is...), while always hiding behind a pseudonym (wait do we know it’s a he, even?)....

... found Bryan-y linking to YT videos he made, to be objectionable shilling?

LOL LOL LOL. Classic. Wow.

Gives me an idea for a sub-forum request.

Aerobatics are the most fun thing to do besides sex, and sex is barely better. A 330 in the hangar, with my name on it, would be great!

Awesome video, thanks for the quality.

This is funny. How many members does POA have? I don't know, but I doubt its enough to knock a dent in the YT pay per view piggy bank.

I think Bryan or anyone else should share any content they feel like. If it doesn't look interesting to me, I won't click on it.

Bryan, I'll watch this later, I didn't watch it yet, I didn't know it had actual aerobatics in it, I thought it might be an upside down video of you on a couch in front of a green screen.

I don't share here anymore unless something happens that is not "about me" so to speak.
I think the last video I posted when I was flying and two F-18s visited w/ me on the radio and blew past me rocking their wings.
Article here: https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zo...rumman-private-plane-with-wing-rocking-salute

I never posted vids here hoping somehow POA would generate the volume of views required to yield noticeable income. Early on , it was an extension of my writing which I did on here back when I had more time.
I get how it gets under people's skin so no need to rock the boat. I actually don't share my videos anywhere anymore. or very rarely anyway.

If it's good, youtube will do its thing for me. The piggy bank side is what it is and I can't make a noticable impact on it by shoving it in front of peoples' faces.
I have learned a lot by running a channel some good and some bad but I mostly try to just let it be its thing and I try not to interject it anywhere.

Dang, thanks for linking that hornet article/vid, I missed that one! (again, I probably saw your YT thumbnail and thought it was a photoshop joke)

Nice video Briany. Your editing is very professional looking and the content never fails to entertain.

<— definitely not butthurt

Any chance you got an endorsement signature for the spins?

If you did, then you’re one step closer to CFI.

I miss the In The Hangar content

When he is a CFI he’ll be posing as a DPE
Or creating videos of “how to do traffic patterns single pilot in an B787” using his patented mini etch-a-sketch FiveFlight HSI

Bryan is one guy I NEVER mind posting a video. Well, that Elf series was pretty disturbing, but that's my fault for clicking on it.

Bryan, I see your problem. You forgot the aviator sunglasses. How do you expect to do insane aerobatic stuff with no cool sunglasses?

There is the sponsor he needs to get… Flying Eyes
