The departing fan disc apparently took out all electrical, so they flew "blind" back to the airport, heavy, no extra flaps or spoilers, impressive work by the crew. AVHerald has a couple good videos of it landing.. man are they low making that base to final turn!!
You (or at least I), don't appreciate how much energy those engines have inside of them until you see a picture like this, below. That thing cut clean through what is arguably the strongest part of the airplane
