Well its green. It flies. Its ours.

This was our last photo shoot of the year. I won't show many belly shots because it was just before I had scrubbed all the oil off :( My friend Dmitry did another great job. These were shot from the back seat of a Cherokee 180. This was our toughest photo shoot because we had one occasion where they ended up right in the sun (to me) and I immediately broke it off. You see it in movies but the actual experience is like 100x more intense. Thankfully we had a well briefed strategy and about 5 minutes later were back at it...and another direction!

Another "first experience" was seeing head on traffic the ADSB about 5 miles out and 200ft below. We paused (leveled wings) and climbed up and bit. He passed right under us. I bet he was a bit surprised when a single ADSB target turned into 2 planes.

First shot of the run. We started at about 2000agl but it was still bumpy for the camera so climbed up more and all shots are around 3000agl.

Closest point of approach and a very light break right..dirty belly and 20yr old unpainted battery box repair spot can be seen. We are about 2 full wingspans apart in this photo.

This is about the most inward angle we try to keep it safe.

I challenged Dmitry to wind mills and lakes...

The other side. Flying back home and away from the sun.

Really liked the clouds reflected on the lake (unplanned)

These are beautiful! The airplane isn’t too bad either ;)

Great pics! I’ve never tried this so I imagine there are significant challenges.

Thanks for sharing!
