Should I report this pilot?

22:30 he's on the ramp about to get fuel with no wheels chocked

but by far, the worst.........

22:41 he goes INTO the fbo through the OUT door. WHO DO I CALL I NEED TO REPORT THESE SHENANIGANS ASAP!!!!!!

just think how many extra views your gettin, Kev, from all this stupidity.......

In the first 30 seconds, 91.103 - failed to find out what time the FBO actually opened so he could get fuel.
No evidence of using a checklist! (Yes, people have called the FAA about that one.)
No common porpoise. (Am I fishing on this one?)

Leave your underwear home and go COMMANDO and NORDO.

I’d report him. What an unprofessional display of airmanship and blatant disregard of safety/governing regulations. Better yet...y’all tie him up to the stake and I’ll grab the matches. :)

Now everybody settle down ... this is how it should be handled:

1. Everyone that has posted upto this message gets a free ride next time they're in the area.
2. The"offender" and his wife will permanently carry a list of our call signs, granting Class B transitions in whatever direction/altitude WE request, and telling the commercial guys to remain clear of the Bravo until we're done;):p

What is the significance of the holding position markings at a non-towered airport?

I think that depends upon how much someone respects the law. At my non-towered airport it is rare that I call clear until I’m past the hold line, but there probably have been a few times that I’ve called a little early to let someone behind me feel a little more secure. If something were to happen between my calling clear and actually crossing the hold line it wouldn’t be a good thing. Anything could happen. I was on short final behind a 310 at Addison one time. When he turned off the runway the side load collapsed the gear and punctured a fuel tank, so I have seen that things really can happen.

And that was a problem for you because...

Being ultra-cool, I begin my call at a time and location to perfectly time it so that the word "clear' comes out just as the tail crosses the line. :p

I truly feel sorry for folks who watch youtube to find pilots to criticize.

To his credit, he manages to land the thing without going into unusual attitudes like Jerry.

*minimums...minimums*..............................................."Got it!"

Now we're talkin'

But seriously, I've noticed something on the last few vids. I see two very high EGT peaks on the engine analyzer right engine display. Is that real, Memorex, or bad probe/wiring?

Because he was not past the hold line. They told me to abort the landing and made me fly a hold North of the airport for two hours, but other than that, no problem. I’m sure that would have been no problem for a Captain, but I was a student pilot at the time.

oops. I was thinking uncontrolled airport - Addison has a tower - whole different animal. My mistake.

I respect the law. But I don't know what the law says about holding markings at non-towered fields.

EGT absolute value is highly variable based on where in the pipe the probe is stuck. I suspect the hasn't normalized the bar graphs.

Maybe no one else knows either.

Here's what the AIM says in one place:
2-3-5(a)(1)
When approaching the runway, a pilot should not cross the runway holding position marking without ATC clearance at a controlled airport, or without making sure of adequate separation from other aircraft at uncontrolled airports. An aircraft exiting a runway is not clear of the runway until all parts of the aircraft have crossed the applicable holding position marking.
But that actually contradicts the source it cites:
4-3-20(b)
An aircraft is considered clear of the runway when all parts of the aircraft are past the runway edge and there are no restrictions to its continued movement beyond the runway holding position markings.

You realize this is a joke, because the youtuber in question is one of our own and we are giving him ****, yes?
I know who he is and I know what this thread is about but even still I feel the same way. There are people who feel its their calling in life to make sure the rest of internet knows they've identified some sort of transgression that cannot go unpunished. I feel sorry for those folks. There are so many other ways they could be spending their time that are far more fulfilling and useful.

Got even worse on the trip back...

We have Frank Tallmans B25 from which the aerial scenes in that movie and many, many other movies was filmed. It has been restored since that time to its original form, but the museum has the custom nose with the turntable that the camera was mounted in.

Sorry for the late reply. Work and getting the second cut of hay in.

My right side 3 and 5 egt probes failed. They either show 0 or max out at 1800. I had them tested last shop visit and they both failed. Trying to decide between replacing them or upgrading engine monitor to replace all my old original gauges. I’m hoping for something new to hit the market soon...little birdie rumors and such. My CHTs work well and that’s most important to me.

Found another one to report. Completely missed the runway (2:50). When do you report clear when you aren't even on the runway??????

Oh it's not just limited to the internet. There are Karens all over.

What is it with these dudes calling clear of the active before crossing the hold lines? :fingerwag::rofl:

I’m assuming you’re trying to be funny by making a spoof from PremierJet.. I really hope you are and can’t be serious.
