Hello everyone, I know there are some pilots in here that fly pilots for paws flights so I’m looking for some advice. My wife has rescued dogs for 10+ years and is her passion in life. I bought a plane last year but is currently in the shop so I am unable to help this little guy out but thought I would see what the chances of getting this little guy to Rhode Island. His adoptive family has been waiting patiently for him to go on ground transport tomorrow but we just found out they can not go passed New Jersey state line without being quarantined. So now the rescue wants to give this family their money back and send him to a different rescue. I would love to be able to get him from Arkansas to Rhode Island to the family that has already paid for him and getting daily updates on him. Is this too short notice or something achievable? I have signed up on pilots for paws but won’t let me post this question. Just tells me put on rider board.

It’s not short notice. Just post it and you should get hits. Long distance rides might take longer. Weather will play a role of course.

Posted on pilots n paws but no help there. Anyone willing to help get this pup from yardley pa to Warwick RI?

That's a 4 hour drive. Any reason the adopting family can't come get him?

Can’t cross New Jersey state line without being quarantined or she would drive over and get him

She’s had a hell of a time getting him so I’m doing what I can. She is also a nurse which is reason #2 why I’m pushing so hard to get him there. If I had mine out of the shop I would’ve taken him from Arkansas straight to her

Take the back roads. Drive through back yards and farm fields, lol.

Wouldn't that also apply if someone crossed the state line in an airplane?

The way I understand it, if you cross the state line into New Jersey you are quarantined for 14 days. Flying over it from PA to RI should be a non issue. That’s just me. Someone from that area may know more.

I have no idea about the rules in NJ, but you can get from PA to RI by ground without going through NJ.

If they don't land, what's the issue? Commercial air traffic is doing it every day, true?
I must have misunderstood and thought they were going from NJ to RI.

@benyflyguy thanks for your help with the contact. A pilot from that site is going to grab him and take him home. Thx again
