A very nice 1974 Piper Warrior with a fresh annual and a total instrument avionics upgrade. Only 2700 hrs. total time and 380 hrs. SMOH. All proceeds from our aircraft raffles do directly to our Medical Air Transport program where we fly folks with serious medical conditions to care facilities not available to them locally -- all at no cost to the patient or any outside organization. For aircraft details please go to https://wingsofhope.ngo and click on the Airplane Raffle box. Tickets go on sale April 1 and sell out quickly so please mark your calendars. Again, mega-thanks for your support!

Calendar entry made. Now just need to launch a $325,000 GoFundMe campaign so I can purchase all the tickets.

This is gonna be a sweet ride with these avionics

Calendar set. I'm a high wing guy but those avionics could change my mind.

Passing on it this time. There are raffles with much better odds out there.

Odds can vary with what you're seeking, i.e. a specialized vs. general purpose aircraft. The website FlywithPat.com lists our raffle along with all known others for 2020. After reviewing the offerings of the other raffles we feel the quality of our aircraft along with our 2nd, 3rd and 4th prizes constitute a highly attractive offering.

Looking forward to 4/1! Got my postcard on the fridge too :)

Less than 24 hrs. until the tickets go on sale! Thanks in advance for your support of our free medical transport mission.

(Looks at calendar.... yup, March 30th, not yet 31st)

Same. Before the opening, no problem. after, problem

“error establishing database connection”

Their website guru must be working from home and is still sleeping.

Same for me. Typically have no load or latency issues in the past.

You ever seen a dam break loose and the wall of water hit a bridge? That is their website and database server. :D

People are even complaining on their Facebook page. Think it is more than just too many people trying to access their site? They have had problems in the past, but I have always been able to at least get to the site.

COVID meant more folks were at home and had set alarm clocks to be awake when the gate opened.

Ticket purchased.

now for another cup of coffee while I chair fly my new airplane

Got one though I usually buy 3, though we live below our means still trying to cut down all expenses as much as possible until this virus crapola blows over and things get back to semi-normal.

Popular site this am :D Got one. Should be all it takes.

Liked it better when it was 3,000 tix at $150 for three. But I still bought it, so I guess I'll go shut up about it and think about my new airplane with one door. : )

In for one!

Reading the details it list the "GMC-507: Integrated 2 axis Auto-Pilot", which is the experimental autopilot controller. Makes me curious if these are the STC G5s or if it's all a field approval on the experimental versions.

The GMC-507 is the mode controller for the GFC-500. I presume it's just a typo and they intended to say it was a GFC-500 2-axis autopilot install. There are 2 variants of the GMC-507, the PMA'd one used with the GFC-500 and the non-PMA'd one used in the experimental installs.

I’m a sucker for orange. Had to get a couple. But after I bought I check the main page and it said all tickets sold out?? I could have gotten the last few?? WTH??

Sold out????? OK, go ahead and pull the winner!!!! Why not?????
