Finally got in the air after all the bad weather. I made a point to thank the controller for the weather. I told him since I get all my weather from the FAA I figured they must be the folks that make it. He said he was happy to do it.
I flew to KMSL Muscle Shoals and got self serve fuel for 3.75. The FBO building was closed; however, there is a restroom at the self serve pumps. Great experience but it was lonely out there. Come on guys go fly.

If the weather is good I may try to get in the air this weekend.. I miss it!

I plan on going up next week. Under normal circumstances I would get FF but I'm wondering now if there's even a point to it.

In my experience, if there isn't one, there will be one anyway.

Right between the hangars or 3 rows deep in the corn field. :)

I'd love to go flying this weekend but 100% chance of convection tomorrow and 50% Sunday.

Will be flying next week ,much safer than going to a supermarket

I reckon I'm fixin to try flying this weekend as well.

Flew today in semi IMC. Fair amount of traffic. Lots of puppy mill students out of KFIN. Decided I need to get a lot more IFR time to stay proficient. Looks like ERAU is still flying out of DAB as well.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. I posted about flying solo the other day here on POA and got some flack from a POA member about how I was being socially irresponsible because I did not consider the risk of an engine failure or other accident, how that might impact the hospital I was taken to, and perhaps take a bed from someone who desperately needed it for the virus. Glad to see I have irresponsible company, and ladies and gentlemen, especially you Shep, keep up the good work. Carry on!

I’ll be flying around all weekend, weather permitting. Someone doesn’t like it they can kiss my ass.

Whoever brought up that argument seems like a pretty pessimistic flyer and probably shouldn’t be doing this if how the hospitals could be affected crosses their mind during flight planning.
