More photos of the sweet looking Cessna 340A I was shooting later, but a few of you have asked about how I get the shots. One of my favorite rides is an A36 Bonanza.

One of my motivations to finish my RV kit and get it painted is so I have an excuse to fly with you. And I don’t care which corner of which floor anyone’s office is in, yours is better.

Cool pics!!

Are you strapped in place so you are pretty well immobile in that position? Or does your rigging allow you to, for example swing around to shoot upward facing the other way? Just curious.

Very interesting.

Are the black shoulder-straps for tethering your camera?

If it were me, I'd eventually drop it out the door, I'm sure, if it weren't tied down.

No, I can easily move around. I've got it rigged that I could get very close to falling out and still be safe. I've never even had a close call though.

The black and red straps all tether me! My camera is attached to a bungee cord with careeners on each end.

Jack, I enjoy your pictures. Thank you!

Question for you. Do you take continuous motion video and then pull out the stills? Or are they all still shots? Some look like the timing would have to be perfect (aircraft passing over a shoreline, sun and shadows perfect, etc.), hence, the question.

Thank you. All of my shots are stills. EAA asked me to shoot some video at OSH and I failed miserably!!

My Aunt and Uncle in NJ had an A36 years ago on a lease back, LOTS of no-door use by guys like you and the FBI. Almost profitable for them even without the business and tax aspects.
