There are many levels of comedy.

At the bottom is bathroom humor, bodily noises, etc.
Just above that is what I call incongruent juxtaposition - slapping two things together that don't make sense, but end up being funny. A bunny with a pancake on its head being my favorite example (and gosh it's old as far as internet time goes!).

Science tells us there are many comedy layers above this, for example, puns or even that highest of all comedy, satire. But most men stay at these two levels.

And I'm OK with that. :D

Fark sounds right to me also.
