How much toilet paper do you need?

that depends on how much laxative you are drinking ... lol

Stay away from Taco Bell and you can greatly reduce your usage.

ALL OF IT..!!! MORE, MORE, MORE..!!! I NEED MORE TP NOW..!!!!

Fortunately we just did our monthly paper run and filled up on TP and paper towels. And for some strange reason my wife did a paper run as well, so we hoarded before hoarding was cool...

Don't forget the other use of TP. Throw it out of you plane and cut it up as it goes down. Be sure to use the wing and not the prop, or you'll be picking a million little bits of TP out of your cylinder fins.

Depends on how full of it you are. I have known a few folks that would need a case a day.

Are we talking double rolls or extra soft?

We bought a bale of TP in like January. Me, the wife, and three small boys, and we still have a few weeks worth. I'm struggling to understand why anyone would need more than one or two bales right now. Are we preparing for never having TP again, or do people just use an insane amount? I don't get it. Also, there is zero liquid hand soap at Wally World. There were people scratching their heads and walking off disappointed and empty handed. Right below the liquid hand soap is a whole shelf full of antibacterial bar soap, untouched, and two aisles away is a whole shelf full of Dawn, perhaps the best all purpose soap on planet earth. Folks are dumb.

What the heck is a "bale" of TP? Is that like a bale of hay? :D

It’s country parlance for once the 30-packs of TP you buy at Wally World or Costco. Kind of resembles a square bale of hay.

Thanks. I grew up in the wheat country of eastern Washington, but had never heard the term before. Makes sense.

It's what the hoarders were grabbing by the dozen.
How in the hell do you put a dozen 30-packs of TP in an ordinary car, or even an SUV? Maybe in a pickup?

It's still stupid beyond belief to hoard an item for which there is no logical reason to expect a shortage, EXCEPT if everyone does exactly what you are doing. People behaving like chimpanzees.

Judging from the spelling of “tyre”, there was plenty of tp hoarding going on in other parts of the world, too.

In this world, there a 2 type of people. Those with TP and those looking for TP.

Seriously am wondering how much longer before there’s a steady supply on the shelves. I haven’t seen any on shelves in at least 10 days now.

Shows where people's deepest insecurities lie...

How much TP do I need? It depends if I’m having one of these days or not:

The main problem we have is that people are only using one side of the toilet paper.

I was wondering the same thing.

Yes, it's very much like a bale of hay in terms of shape and size. Hence the use of the term. Surely your imaginations were able to fill the gap there. You know, the big bulk bundles of TP, like at a big box store. Catchin' my drift?

So I did some cabin fever inspired calculations...
A Costco TP roll has 425 sheets.
Figure about 4 sheets per wipe.
Figure about 5 visits/day for women and 1 visit/day for men.
Figure about 5 wipes per visit for men and 2 wipes per visit for women.

That works out to be that one roll of TP from Costco will last 10.625 days for a woman and 21.25 days for a man.

Probably better up the wipes per visit for the women. Especially when averaging in that "time of the month".

1 visit per day? Need more fiber.
