Curious if anyone in a Cessna has purchased and used one of the between seat organizers for the 172,177, 182, 205, or 206?

See http://www.crosswindconcepts.com/www.crosswindconcepts.com/organizers.html#

The price is more than I would expect at $279 but making better use of this space might be worth it.

In an odd twist of fate, my initial inquiry led to me becoming the new manufacturer for these units. Odd how life works out sometimes. https://rareaviation.com/product/cockpit-organizer-cessna-182

I have no doubt you could find something at Staples or OfficeMax to make use of the space for approximately $8. If you feel inclined to send me a $271 finders' fee, I wouldn't object.

A lot of the stuff in the pic isn't used much anymore. E6B, charts, pilot guide, passive Dave Clarks (headsets worn when flying and wouldn't be stored). An IPAD would replace most of that stuff.

You are absolutely right. However, I have a need to stash our public safety radio head nearby during flight along with all our map books for dispatched calls. I hope I never have to touch an E6B ever again.

yeah but does the Staples model have coffee cup holders on it? That’s all I really need is a place to put my coffee travel mug until I level out in cruise.

Know anyone with access to a laser cutter? Something like that could be knocked out in a matter of minutes.

Hi Steve
A have one of these brand new that I never used that I could sell you. I believe it's the style #172, I can take measurements and pictures when I get home tonight and confirm. PM me if you're interested.

I like this one sold by Cessna. It's way more than a car or common retail organizer. It's bottom weighted and comes with Velcro to attach to the floor so it's does not become a missile in sudden movements.

Here's a link to pics, part number and more info: http://welch.com/n46pg/category/interior/

It holds my POH, small flashlight, pens, sunglasses, water bottles, cell phone, etc. Easy to step over, plus quick grab items needed.

Concerning Oxygen bottle; Mine is mounted under the aft seat and stainless band clamped to the center floor to seat stand. Makes it super easy to turn and set oxygen flow and not interfere with aft passengers. Putting the oxygen under an organizer between the front seat is more difficult to adjust in flight.
