I quoted a post yesterday in a thread and then decided not to post it. When I go back and read that thread, the quoted post shows up (faded text) in what looks like a Reply box. So, apparently it's still cached in my account somehow?

Two very simple ways -

a) select all - delete

b) click insert quotes at the bottom of the text box and then click remove at the upper right hand corner.

My method is to delete whatever is in the reply window, and then I click on the little floppy disk icon (third one from the right) and select Delete Draft.

You guys are wayyy to fancy for me ...

Close window (or tab).

Yep. Just select all and delete the text out of the window.

I tried that just now, closed the window, and then opened a new window. The text was still there. I have to use the Delete Draft menu item if I want to ensure that it won't come back.

Ah, yeah. It takes a few seconds to update. You can see a little pop-up fire in the window when it saves the draft. I think it's like 5 sec after typing stops. Your way would be the fastest.

I waited ten seconds and I didn't see the little pop-up fire, and the text that I deleted came back when I reopened the Window. :dunno:
