Almost two years ago, I got a very rare opportunity to shoot Mister Mulligan in the air. AOPA showed interest in the photos for a story on Jim Younkin, so I didn't share them. They haven't done anything yet, so I figure I gave them enough time for exclusive pics.

Mister Mulligan was running hot, low on fuel, and struggling to fly with us in the 170, so I didn't get many shots. What a blast though!!

Jim Younkin on the left. We lost him this year, but he lived a pretty good 90 years!

He also made the Mulicoupe
You're missing an "L." Should be Mullicoupe. Interacted with the Younkins and Franklins through others and actually worked on one of the original Mullicoupes. Always thought the Younkin Beech 18 was one of nicest flying. It's my understanding the grandson of Jim Younkin flies that Beech in airshows today. If you want to talk flying families, I believe the Younkin's and Franklin's are in the top 10 for sure.

Stupid phone! Thx!

Yes, Matt Younkin flies the Beech 18 in a nice aerobatic show, day and night shows.
