And I don't mean similar to bombing. Here' is how the conversation went. I have changed the names to protect the innocent, and accused guilty:

Rayone: "It's soooooooo annoying!"
Me: (okay I didn't change my own name) "What?"
Rayone: "Shumaine literally likes every post I make!"
Me: "That's a bad thing?"
Rayone: "Twelve new notifications, Shumaine likes this!"
Me: (Thinking silently) Hmm, that's better than Shumaine disliking his posts.

I dunno, is there some sort of etiquette policy regarding post likes?

I like what makes me laugh or when someone stands up to an ***hole.

I wish there was a dislike button for the ***holes.

Someone liking every post by a person seems like flirting, it has happened to me and it gives me an uneasy feeling.

Same. If you make me laugh out loud you’re usually getting a like.

Can you like your own posts? Now that would be fun. Start liking myself.

Where's the multiple likes for a single post option? I would have liked the OPs post, like, maybe a 1000 times.

Would that be, um, like, an ALU (Aviation Like Unit)?
Like, I'm just askin'

Someone recently talked about how good looking they are...I think it was in the Fitbit thread...but if it was, it's gone now. Wasn't you was it?

Start saying that type of stuff and I'm confident that those of a different persuasion might start liking every post you make!

just sayin'...

:)

Originally, when I saw this thread I was thinking that it was an overuse of the “like” this or that and that we would be discussing something “like” I dunno, flour bombing, or pumpkin bombing, or some other form of aviation dart game. This is a huge disappointment.

Nope, that wasn't me. If I told y'all how good looking I was you wouldn't believe me. :D

Should also include “like Instagram, get rid of likes all together.”

It’s proven that craving “likes” is linked to narcissism.

I remember reading something that when you get “likes” your brain releases dopamine, so you feel happy. Makes sense, everyone likes to feel liked.

Of course the narcissist takes that to a different level. Ironically, my mother is a narcissist and doesn’t use Facebook, but I think that’s mostly because she doesn’t do computers well.

I liked your post Ted, do you feel happy...
