So is Flightaware showing all adsb-equipped flight activity now?
Or is there another site that will catch more?

If you have an account and are logged in, and have enabled position only flights, you see it all. At least when you search by N-number.

FAA now has a new program allowing aircraft owners to block their ADSB data.

So is LADD different from ASDI?
Ed taught us here how impotent that was....as there is no way to stop your adsb transmitter from being intercepted by ‘non-vendors’ ie adsbexchange, and I have wonder if this is a similar misconception.

Unfortunately friends and family like tracking me. But if criminals start using flight tracking sites to know when we’re not at home I might want to change it.

LADD assigns you a new Anonymous ADSB code not publicly linked to your aircraft registration. The data can be intercepted, but there is no way to link that data to your tail number or registration.

so we'd lose the ability for F&F to track us but gain some privacy. Better.

Unless someone makes the connection on LiveATC or visually.

The tailbeacon on my airplane can be set prior to flight to "anonymouse" mode.

I hope you don’t want to fly in ADSB-required airspace after 1/1/20 then..

I actually don’t fly my personal plane in ADSB space much anyways, but blocking my N number with the feds has nothing to do with that, many private jets are blocked

...and they’re still trackable if you know where to look.
