...that will be given to all who land at my airstrip once it's "fully open."

So, here's what I'm thinking. (Input welcome).

On the front will be a variation of the property's logo which was designed and used on the dump truck and other various equip:

Truck Lettering V3.png

Modifications would include:

Remove my tail number...no one wants a t-shirt with my plane's tail number...and make the stripes continuous down the side.

Remove "& Farm, LLC" so it just reads, "FLIB Field"

Center "Conway, MO" & remove "NOT FOR HIRE" (or maybe just axe Conway, MO also)

Place airport designator (once received) under everything else (maybe).

On the back...especially since it will only be given to those who have landed there. There will be a letter (in relatively small print as to not be as obnoxious as I am):

Dear FAA,

I cannot lie, I won't deny,
I wasn't shy, I got high
on grass and sky
at FLIB Field!

I still say you messed up hard not naming your field "Winter's Landing". Just how I see it.

I can't wear a tee shirt with a high wing on it man....;)

Broom Hilda will see that and spontaneously break out in well, breaks.

Seriously Tim, a tee shirt with

" I landed at FLIB Field and Farm, Conway MO.
and all I got was this stupid tee shirt"

would be pretty damn cool.

Sounds good, but leave the location IMO.

How long will the strip be?

Low wings aren't allowed on grass strips! Nosewheels wouldn't be either except that I have one!!! :rolleyes:o_O:confused:;)

Shhhhh... don't tell my Cherokee. She's already been to a bunch of'em, and is looking forward to more. Would hate to disappoint her.. ;)

I like it as is. Having no tail number is too generic. The & Farm LLC adds character as well. Keep Conway and Not For Hire. If I saw the 2 side by side on a rack, I pick the one you show. Leave the back blank.

1. doesn't do much for me.
2. the apostrophe is in the wrong place.
3. not nearly smart assed enough for my taste.

I liked someone's idea of "Objectionable." Had I thought the FAA would approve that name and put it one the chart, I would've gone with that. But I had serious doubts. Hell, I wasn't sure they'd accept FLIB...still not actually.

I’d land my mooney there, but 1200 miles for a tshirt is a bit of a stretch. Lol

You know there’s a book and movie that’s set down your way called “Winter’s Bone”.

I like your original editing idea.
I'm a fan of pocket tees, which mostly ruins logo shirts for me... unless it's miniature above or on the pocket... Or just FLIB field.

That's boring.

I like it. No side struts and fixed gear. So obviously a Cardinal 177B.

like it!

it's much better than my official uniform

I would recommend a runway with numbers at an angle and then the CTAF frequency above it and length and width below. I agree leave the location.
