One way in strips

They look more like “one way out” strips. Could get into a bunch of them from either end, but definitely not getting out in either direction. Cool video, as always.

I like the one with the horse standing in the middle of the runway!

Real pilots don't need no noisy stinkin stall horns. Only saw one or two strips there that looked maybe a little difficult. I'd guess that pilots who rarely venture beyond controlled airspace, and mile long concrete runways, would crap their pants if they had to do this kind of flying. Sad.

Of course I'm going to be badly castigated for wondering what was in or near those strips to justify such derring do. After all, if the airplane got pranged or even just broke down, the pilot would find himself quite a way from any potential assistance.

That's why you should always dress like you will have to walk home.
In those cases shown, check with the 10th Mountain Division and see what they carry.

I'm so torn on this. On one hand I totally agree with you. On the other hand, if somebody enjoys doing something I find completely foolish, and it doesn’t effect me, I say go for it.

Maybe it’s best not to say anything.
