Where on earth do you set this? Mine is still my old address. I can't find it anywhere in the app and ForeFlight support seems to not exist (all i get is an automated response with not very helpful links).

It's your username. Look under "account" in the app or online.

In the app: More | Account | Login

Eh? Not my EMAIL address. My SNAIL MAIL address that gets inserted into the flight plans down in the PILOT info section.

Oh. Just start creating a flight plan. The mailing address field is there. I don't recall whether it is sticky or not since I don't use it.

...yes it is sticky. I filled in in using the online flight planner and it appeared in a different plan when I created one.

It's not sticking for me. It keeps going back to my old one.

OK, it appears not to stick in the web version. Changing it in the moblie app does make it persist.

A shot in the dark.. I don't use ForeFlight.. but I'm guessing that ForeFlight, like some other EFBs, uses data from 1800wxbrief or other online planning/briefing service and that, when you configured it, you had to check "Allow Data to be sent to ForeFlight" or something similar on your account online with whatever that services, and also probably had to enter your account login info w/in Foreflight too so it could access that information. To change your mailing address in your flight plan, you may have to, outside of ForeFlight, log into whatever service you use (AOPA flight planner? SkyVector? Dedicated ForeFlight or Jepp something or other? Dunno... I use 1800wxbrief) and change your information there. It's probably saved as static flight plan filing information, much like your aircraft's performance numbers, slant codes, etc.

Again.. just a guess.

ForeFlight uses the last successful flight plan data that you filed to initialize the pilot information including the address. So edit your data to be what you want, file a flight plan for a few hours into the future and after it succeeds, cancel the flight plan. Don't delete the flight plan, because if you do, the data is no longer available to pre-fill the pilot information.

Edit: If you need to request support, send an email to team@foreflight.com and ideally use your account email. If you need a phone call, provide a number where you can be reached and times/time zone when you are reachable.

I've gotten used to this unintuitive behavior, but these really ought to be under Settings.

I did over a week ago. I got an unhelpful automated response and ZERO followup.

In my experience, that's pretty unusual. I've contacted team@ well over a dozen times over the past 8 years and I cant recall a time I didn't receive a human response within an hour. or two at the most.
