Does anyone know where I can get reproduction wing graphics ( red, white & blue star) for my Grumman AA1? These have seen better days and I would like to replace them but I dont know where to get them or what they are even called. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Any automobile graphics/tinting shop should be able to duplicate or refer you. Don't know if the replacement will be "airworthy" but it's a place to start.

As previously stated, any graphics place can reproduce. Use a good 3M type material.

As far as legality?

Appendix A to Part 43—Major Alterations, Major Repairs, and Preventive Maintenance

(c) Preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance is limited to the following work, provided it does not involve complex assembly operations:

(9) Refinishing decorative coating of fuselage, balloon baskets, wings tail group surfaces (excluding balanced control surfaces), fairings, cowlings, landing gear, cabin, or cockpit interior when removal or disassembly of any primary structure or operating system is not required.

I think that place will work although Im not even sure the 30” size will be correct

They are called "roundels." Are they painted or applied? Fletchair might know how to obtain/refurbish them.

I found that Aircraft Spruce carries them and I think I will order from there. Thanks for everyones help
