People still trying to get in ahead of the storm. Winds 300@26g41 right now. Crazy.

Yep — we’re sitting under the HBC pavilion watching this all unfold.

The shaking on the vintage cam live feed from the wind is impressive.

Wow, that's crazy weather. Hope all of the aircraft make it in one piece and you guys/gals are safe. Heard over on the Red Board that they are no longer taking grass parking - hard stand only. Now we know why...

If you're on EAA's text alerts, that alert came out a little while ago. My question is whether they will be able to open grass parking tomorrow, given that more rain is on the way.

It's been ugly.

The grounds are mud city after three days of soakers and this one is coming this afternoon.

They're pumping out swamps on the roads.
The drainage Creek is full.

There were tornadoes to the north last night and this morning.

Impressive seeing Matt Younkin land his Beech 18 in those winds and rain with not so much as a wiggle.

Kyle, HBC is soggy but I think it will improve by tomorrow afternoon

Made it between tongues.
Looks hideous right now.
Rushing to room:
Wow, I saw those tongues earlier today and thought someone might make it in there but then thought, that someone sure as heck wouldn't be me! What if there was a snafu getting in and traffic had to hold? Would create some serious pucker factor knowing what's bearing down from behind.
