Questair Venture PIREP

Still love the capabilities of the QV, Gm remembers when I was on a quest for a new plane and marauded the chats.
 
I thought they were among the coolest kit built airplanes when I first saw them at OSH in the '90s. Up there with the SX300 and Harmon Rockets in my "gawd would I love to build and fly one of those" fantasies.
 
Just peeked into the hangar next to mine. Guess what I found?

I haven't met the guy yet but soon I hope.
 
On my phone. I showed it to Dave Thieson yesterday and he confirmed what it was and even told me about you. It has a tarp over it. Looks like it was missing a canopy and wings but the guy hasn't totally moved in yet.
