Booked a room in hopes that I can get that weekend off from work.
Any tips for first Time visitors ?
Bring anything/everything you need, as there is not much around.
As far as flying in...I landed/took off an over-loaded-but-under-powered Cherokee from there on a 90 degree day...if my Cherokee can do it, anyone can.

Remember, there is no fuel for sale at 2I3. Plan accordingly.

2I0 is close and they have a very friendly/helpful FBO and a self-serve pump. Other airports might be just as good/more convenient but that's one I've been to many times so I thought I'd mention it.

There will be fuel in the other planes of course.

In this case, low wing airplanes do have an advantage over high wing planes. Just be careful who you park next to in a high wing.

Just watched that a few days ago. I had the privilege, nay, the responsibility of introducing it to a 24 year old kid who had never heard of it. He enjoyed it thoroughly. There is hope for the young man.

That's my favorite movie, and has been since I saw it in the theater in 1983. Appropriately, this was a second-run theater - 99 cents, all seats, all shows, all times - that was in a Quonset hut.

looks the DFW crowd will be via hiney and peepee too.

i hope nobody has to hold for flow control.

How do you tell a male Canada goose from a female Canada goose? It's the one on top.

Today I started ground school at Piedmont. I'll get home Apr 12 and then wait for a sim training date. Some guys are waiting 2-3 weeks between ground and sims, so I'm a solid maybe for this trip.
