My question is... what's the Fouga Magister doing there? Really cool... but?! 1950s bird, which, to my knowledge, was never in US military inventory... so what gives

Is this just a private guy who slipped in with the military birds? It seems where they are that is just a MOA and not actually restricted.. assuming you stay low enough..

Yeah I was wondering the same thing. I think Edwards uses civ test planes from the test pilot school at Mojave. He was cookin’ for a Fouga. It’s in the MOA on a low level but outside R area.

That AF King Air though. What were those guys thinking???:D

I always love how some airframes just have a unique sound. One you can tell what is flying by without even looking.

Ok, how do I get to do that? I know they allow low passes over space shuttle runway with permission, so....

Guys like Gauntlet Warbirds do contracting for the Edwards test folks and others, and routinely fly through that airspace.

Depending on where this actually took place and how much you want to sleuth the sectional it seems between 2K and 3K there is an unrestricted (however still MOA) that you can operate in

Granted.. even in the best case scenario that would be borderline legal anyway. Still, I did fantasize how sick the Cirrus would look going through that valley. Albeit, at 185 knots it will look far less impressive
