Epic flight to Skagit gravel bars WA

Epic flight.
Great scenery, gravel bars and fun flying with friends.

Very cool. Amazingly great piloting there. Bet that will shake loose any questionable rivets. Haha. What Country was that since a couple had strange hull numbers?

The guy in the C-170 got his (relatively small) wheels into the water at the end of one of his takeoff rolls. That's pretty dicey because they can dig in really quickly.

That's neither how physics or bush flying works. It doesn't take much speed at all for water to offer resistance from sinking in, if anything it bounced Jon up a bit.

join FB watch Jon's videos there. he has a bunch of them.

the orange A/C is a modified 182 with a PeePonk 0-520. the 170-B has one of my 0-300-A stock 145 horse.
"Jon Counsel" is a great guy, and a better pilot, the only pilot to survive a supersonic ejection and return to flight status..

Kyle, is another great guy from the NW, his home port is Anacortes Wa. He built the 170 from a wreck, and earned his A&P doing it.
Yep! That's me filming and flying with him. Him and Sam stayed over at my place for a few weeks around OSH.

Nice!

The PNW really is great for GA

And very good drone shooting
