This video was shot in North East Texas and is co-owned by 3 good friends of mine.

A thing of beauty!

It is very nice looking. Is there a video of the interior?

The SportCruiser/PiperSport is probably the best-looking of the modern light sport planes. Whenever I flew the one I had access to, people would run over to look at it.

They also fly great. Not the fastest of the breed, but good handling characteristics.

One thing which should be in the video - a set of golf clubs will fit horizontally behind the seats. Can't even do that in an A36 Bonanza!

Hi everyone.
I'd be cautious of loading too much / any luggage behind the seats, CG issues, add to that the oversensitive pitch control, and you've quite a few things to contend with.
While I do agree that is good looking, trying to open that huge canopy in a windy day must also be something to think about.

An LSA with wheel pants and a three blade prop? That’s a 10% cut on fuel load right there. Looks pretty though.

Most of them will do 4 hour legs - that’s plenty enough ...

More like 500 given average LSA cruise speed of 120 -130 mph.

That’ll get ya what? 300 miles?
If you are looking for distance, your mission isn't LSA (I also had access to a 170 kt Debonair). We're talking fun, not distance. I still remember returning from my checkout and being told by another pilot who was on the frequency, "you sounded like you were having way too much fun up there." I was.

Speed wasn't great, but otherwise performance was surprisingly good, even at high density altitude. My wife and I once took off from a 7000 MSL airport with the temps about 90.

Not bad. And they do look nice and look fun!

Wow!

Ok, I was trying to be nice. That could be 10% of your fat ass too.

Wow!
I wouldn't recommend it without a very good grounding in high density altitude operations. This was a modified soft field takeoff on hard runway - getting into ground effect before accelerating to climb speed. A friend called me at home after: "Is that how yo have to take off in that airplane?" :D
