Pretty excited, Eren put 6Y9 on our calendar and KY rough river.
Dad wants to do OSH, Gastons is a must.

I've never done Sun n Fun or Wings and I won't get to those this year either.
Really want to do Wings. Adam is such a great guy. I want to get up there.

What's everyone plannin?

SnF, Osh, Thomasville, Rough River (maybe), Triple Tree.

Want to do Sun N Fun but that time of year always gets nuts and I have to cancel. Will try again. Possibly Rough River and 6Y9 (did that in 17 missed it in 18) Oshkosh for sure, and I really want to get to Triple Tree, and will do miscellaneous small local aviation events.

What is Wings?

What's the Thomasville fly in? I assume Georgia, but details?

It is a very friendly and well managed weekend fly-in, typically during October. There are not really any notable events, but I enjoy it for its low key nature and the fact that it is the last decent sized fly-in on the calendar for the year.

Planning SnF. Then we'll see. Probably a few local or SE Breakfast Club fly-ins.

It’s hard for me to commit to anything due to work. Jobs come, I work copious amounts of OT...... it’s thin and I can bounce out no prob.

SnF is on my list but that’s it right now. I’ll decide a week prior if I can go though.

SnF. Went to several OSH when I lived up north and went to SnF for first time last year. I actually might like it better.

Triple Tree. It’s just so darn close that it is hard to say no.

Every single SE fly-in that gets scheduled by either @eman1200 or @Ryanb (figured I preemptively lie).

Possibly Rough River if I can receive some assurances of no one parading around in Celine undies. Though being the same month as SnF might make it difficult.

I also want to go to Greenville ME if I can find the time. Of course I need to get my hands on a seaplane for the full effect.

There are also a few very low key fly-ins around my area that I like to go to. Will do as many of them as I can.

Edit to add:
AOPA Fly-in at Tullahoma TN is a possibility as well.

I'll be at 6Y9. probably won't make OSH. The annual skywagon convention is in June and I'm using most of my vacation to attend.

2018 was a total bust for any of our SE Fly-in’s, so hopefully we can change that in 2019. I keep saying year after year that I will make Oshkosh, so I’m tentatively planning for that this year.

If Mother Nature cooperates here in the NE, I’ll prolly fly down to MD for the AOPA fly-in. It’s been a lousy year, especially weekend here in the NY metro area.

I've never been to a fly-in. Not really sure why, maybe I'm just concerned that everyone is going to judge my landing. If I could get everyone to promise to close their eyes and not watch while I land, like I do, I may be more inclined to participate.

Heck, I close my eyes when I land, so why not. :)

I'm going to the dog fly-in at ruff river and although not making plans for the other big ones, will probably talk about going like I've done the last coupl'a years. would really like to hit OSH and gastons.

Everyone is too concerned about how their own landing looks to judge yours.

SnF - yes
Rough River - maybe
Gaston’s - maybe
SE lunch or dinner runs - sure. And btw the recent GMU lunch was not a “bust”. The five of us there had a good time.

I might stop by and visit Sentimental Journey. I am kicking around the idea of flying to Oshkosh for Airventure; however, I'll only make the trip if I can arrive early before the bs starts. Of course the National Waco Club's 60th and Blakesburg are on my agenda. There are lots of little fly-ins I sometimes visit if they aren't too crowded.

SnF - only if I have to go for work
Rough River - definitely
Oshkosh- I’m always trying to find a way to get there some how
Triple Tree - hopefully this is finally the year I get there
Gaston’s- I would love to, but have a couple of weddings to attend so not sure if I can swing it.
Southeast PoA lunches - every single one.....until I can’t make it. :)

Maybe some others like Thomasville or the Staggerwing (I mean, Beechcraft) museum

Maybe we get a group of Beech and non-Beech owning members to attend the Beech Party. They don't kick-out non-Beechcraft owners. Nice location and centrally located for those of us in the SE.

I’d be game. It’s not a far hop from here.

OSH - Will be there the entire week with friends. I'm told that our campsite is under the Downwind to Base turn for the ultralight field.
Gastons- Will try to get up there for 2019. Work got in the way for this year at the last minute.

I can't commit to anything, but would be fun to try some out. Prob not SnF or OSH, just cause I don't like huge crowds. Something like the Rough River Celine Tribute might be doable though.

Definitely Osh, and the Copperstate event in early February (now in Buckeye, AZ).
