As if we don’t know who Martin P is...... oh wait....not everyone flies a Bonanza!

signed...……….by a weatherman.

and you thought the pet rock was a hit.

I’d be really interested in reading some good weather books. It’s one area I’d like to learn a lot more on. $70 seems a bit steep for a book though to be honest. Regardless I might pick this one up sometime.

You may also want to check out Scotts site http://avwxworkshops.com/online-training.php
There is lots of good information there and some on line courses.

Understood about the price. We used quality paper and it's a fairly comprehensive book. If you look for the Aviation Weather book published by Jeppesen, the fourth edition is roughly $65+ in price. Pilot Weather is in this same "class" of books. It's about the same length and also color, but unlike Aviation Weather, it's written by two experienced pilots. It's written from both the eyes of meteorologist and a pilot. Even the fourth edition of Aviation Weather is also quite outdated and Pilot Weather provides nuggets of training (important knowledge) you won't find in any other pilot text.

Thanks. I will have to pick up a copy sometime.

It says you guys may have an ebook out early 2019. I much prefer the ebook (Apple Books). If one comes out I will certainly order it.

I am curious about the subtitle "solo to airlines". Why solo as the reference point? Why not student pilot to airlines, or checkride to airlines?
