Just curious, there is a LOT of experience here and with a lot of different airframes. Judging simply on what you've read, who would you like to fly with and why? Keep it to people you haven't yet met.

My first two choices:

@Zeldman and @James331

Zeldman because he has all that bush flying experience and he's relatively close to me.
James331 because of his float plane experience and we seem to think a lot alike.

I feel like I could learn a lot from both these guys.

Those two would be on my list also as would @motoadve. His videos look like a lot of fun.

Also if I ever get around to buying a real pretty plane, I’d want to do a formation flight with @Lowflynjack so he can take some of his excellent photos.

I don't actually like to fly with other pilots. They tend to be critical of little things like certificates, medicals, alcohol, bad landings, asking traffic in the area to please advise, repeating ones self on the radio, etc... I don't need the headache.

I’m sort of like Groucho Marx. I would refuse to fly with anybody who would have me in their aircraft.

Actually, I’ll fly with anybody (at least once).

Cheers

TonyCondon. That dude has some awesome glider flights.

Had an opportunity a bunch of years ago, but the weather sucked and we canceled.

I can vouch that @tonycondon is a great person to fly with. However I've only flown with him in powered aircraft.

How much did that cost you?;)

Well, he said, asss, grasss, or gasss.... No one rides the Cirrus for free. Seeing how I had no money to speak of, we settled up the only other way possible. :blowingkisses:

I can think of a few people I wouldn't fly with. :D

(Not naming names)

@SixPapaCharlie and @eman1200 for the entertainment value. I would actually fly with anyone on here except for that @Stingray Don guy - he counts a good landing as anytime the wings are still attached!

I can assure you, and people that have flown with me can attest, that I’m a pretty boring pilot. No fancy tricks. Until I come to, of course.

Boring is good. I used to fly with a guy who'd make sudden pitch changes or dip a wing to look at something without warning. It didn't bother me that much but it scared the crap out of his non-pilot passengers. I guess that I'd probably be considered boring too because I try to give non-pilot passengers the smoothest ride possible.

With pilot passengers I just try not to miss checklist items, screw up on radio calls etc.

I'll vote for @Velocity173 -- not for the pilot, but the plane!

Well the planets would have to be in perfect alignment to get a ride. It’s grounded more than it’s up. In the shop right now actually.
