They would technically be the last person there and should have paid for lunch!
But wait, since you still haven't shown up, shouldn't you have to reimburse those of us that made it? :D

12/22 wx looks perfect now, of course.

Yeah go figure. I went ahead and got 1.5 in yesterday and it was beautiful. 10g15 right down the runway. Practiced emergency procedures and did a few power off 180s. Wish I went to get a burger instead though.

I did 1.5 as well. Flew to a couple of nearby airports and did a couple of landings at each, grabbed fuel at one, and then back to Lake Norman. Yeah, grabbing lunch somewhere would have been good as well.

boy, gmu sure does look nice tomorrow...………..

I’m out. Heading to FL in the morning.

Out, family obligations. But should be ready to rock right after new years...

Just a heads up. The South Carolina Breakfast Club is scheduled to be at KGMU on Sunday 2/17. Also note on the schedule that we will be violating North Carolina airspace with a scheduled visit to Salisbury NC, KRUQ on 11/17. Below are rules and the schedule:

Rules:
There are no dues and no meeting requirements.
Attend once and you are a member for life.
The only rule is to fly safe.

Breakfast is around $6 – $10 per plate, is ready about 9am, and there is always plenty.

Fly in or drive to the airport, belly up and talk aircraft, aviation, or anything else,
to your heart’s content.

Pilot or non-pilot, everyone is welcome

I came to the RUQ one last year and hope to make a few this year.

But "belly up" is not a good visual for pilots flying retractable gear!

I've been itching to get to one of the breakfast club meetings... I've got plans in the AM and wont be free till the afternoon. @eman1200 if you guys go I might get your contact info and give you a shout when I'm free to see if you guys are still there.
