I keep hearing "You just keep being you."

This is my vote. Any one else got one?

Is that really a new phrase though?

In response to the thread, I dunno. There's a lot of millennial phrases that I hear all the time. Hard to narrow it down to just one.

New to me. I have only heard it recently this year. And I just saw it in a new for 2019 video game preview.

"truly human" - my work wants me to be that. Not sure if choice B is to be "falsely human" or perhaps Feline, Canine or Primate?

Seems all the latest, greatest and cute sayings are all rehashed sayings I have heard over the decades.

I wonder how many people that use, "You just keep being you'' actually know what it means.

How about pilots saying "... podunk Approach, with you.." :stirpot:
Wait, the title said NEW... nevermind.. still

"That is chill"

I guess "cool" is too 90s for these kids.

The best phrases of 2018:

“Lit”
“Litfam”
“Still gonna send it” (might have been 2017)
“Just send it” (“”)

Not new for 2018, but using “literally” to mean “figuratively” is literally the stupidest thing EVER.

Not hearing too many new actual words, but spend considerable time deciphering text abbreviations these days (I see the usefulness as I use them too, I just can't seem to keep up, lol)

Always weird to hear guys say "my bride" when they've been married 20 years. Creeps me out a little.

On second thought, maybe there's more than one bride involved.

No collusion

Witch hunt

.....and do not get me wrong - I’m not positing any truth or falsehood to either phrase....

Not new to 2018 but men who refer to their wives as "the wife". It sounds so impersonal.

I've never heard a woman refer to her husband as "the husband".

What happened to "fleek?" Was that last year?
On Fleek was soooo 2015 and replaced with on point. Gotta love these sayings that change every year. I'm too old to keep up with them though. I'm usually a year behind. haha

“Hack”. No f’ing idea what it means. Thought I did once.

"chill" has easily been around for 20 years or more.

"Yeet" is a rough one.
I also never got on the "bae" bandwagon - but I think that has started to die off.
