I had a great meal at the Brenham TX Airport (11R) today. Very busy!!
When I was leaving I saw lowflynjack leaving too.

Do they still have a themed restaurant? When I was there it was 1950's style.

Yes, it is the same theme, 50's style. Great food.

Last time I was there I bought this cool hat that had the runway numbers on it. My pilot friend (AF who flies F-35s now) called me a dork. I haven't worn it since.

Was good seeing you again!

They reopened a couple of months ago, but they started off with a partial menu and no fried foods. They asked us no to advertise for them for awhile to let them get back on their feet and up to speed. Well, they're there now! Full menu and they were packed. Good to see one of my favorite haunts back!

Do you know if they still have a courtesy car there, and can you give me the name of the cafe so I can add it to my website? Thanks
 
Any idea what their hours are? Last I checked, they were very limited.

I wonder if it really is open, or maybe just the weekends. Google says it is closed, but opens Friday (this is Tuesday), might wait and call, and thanks. PS, just saw the post above that it is open on weekends only, thanks again.
 
I've only been there once, but loved that place. Wish it was closer:( You guys out east have a TON of great food options for short hop meet-ups.
 
How about a group lunch on Saturday, Feb 9 weather permitting? I haven’t been there since they reopened and it would be fun to meet up with a bunch of you.
