I landed safely (Doug Barr aka coloradobluesky)

Sorry to hear the diagnosis. Keep up the good spirits!

I’d love the Husky, but don’t have that kinda money. The guns are more in my budget. Send me a list if you got one. I know a buncha gun guys.

I also need to sell my guns . They're all legal an very interesting

If you're sure you really want to sell, I might be in the market for some stuff, know folks in the market too. Not sure I got anything for the plane I'm kinda blew my plane load on my 185 lol

Man, sorry to hear about the diagnosis. Have fun at your gig - Michigan is unfortunately too far away... We expect pictures!

Scotc and soda,
Mud in your eye
Baby do I feel high
O me oh my
Give me loving baby
I feel high

Well that sucks, but I like your attitude. When laser beams start shooting out of you fingers on stage, make sure someone holds a phone up high and posts the video here.
^^^^ yeah that !!! ^^^^

Thoughts and prayers.

Terrible news! :( Very sorry to hear this, but hoping you can still beat it. If Jimmy Carter could do it...

So sorry to hear about your cancer. I will pray for you and your family.

Sorry to hear. If I still lived in CO you wouldn't be able to keep me away on Tues (and trust me, you'd want to). Like @James331 if I didn't blow it all on a Skywagon, I'd be all over the Husky.

Let us know if there's anything we can do.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Fight! People beat the odds all the time.

Power on, Coloradobluesky!

I am extremely sorry to read what happened and the diagnosis, but it’s good that the seizure occurred on the ground and not in the air. Especially since it sounds like you had a PAX. Prayers for you and your family.

+1. Glad you have music. Wishing you strength and the best possible for the days ahead.

Wow that story took a hard turn. You fight and kick that cancer's ass. Stories that like remind me to slow down and appreciate things. Like Tom Petty- I wont back down..
Cant wait for your posts in 5 years on how you beat this.

That is rotten news. Keep up the fight. I hate cancer (survivor, myself). Beat it. Beat it bad. Prayers sent your way.

Anyone want to help me sell my plane?
Just went through selling a plane. I'm not a photog but can help with posting advertisements and responding in a timely, positive manner. Obviously not as versed in selling as a broker, just offering to help.

Got the chance to show up, meet ColoradoBlueSky, and be a groupie for a great guitarist!
Unfortunately, the open mic schedule had him performing three hours later, so I wasn't able to hang around.
(ColoradoBlueSky, look for another PM from me, thanks.)

To the OP, tough break. Glad the seizure didn't get you in the air, would have made the diagnosis moot. To the rest of us, carpe diem.

Just saw this thread, sorry to hear. Thoughts and prayers...

Thanks G-Man

Crap. The Docs are gonna be guessing, using stats, experience, but probably can't say when or if. Weird, wonderful stuff happens on occasion, inshallah, and I hope it does for you. Sounds like you have a warrior's heart - I'll raise a glass to you this weekend, and think good thoughts.

Same. I can throw an ad up on FB and the other forums if you want.

So sorry for your problem, glad you made the landing.

Thanks for sharing - we all need a reminder from time to time. Glad you landed safely. Many above have said it and I believe it’s true: attitude, healthy living and treatment can set this disease back or even beat it. May you be the next to beat this condition.

Thoughts and prayers, brother.

Right now my flem is reddish brown. But I can still eat and enjoy food.

Just reading this, must have been on POA vacation. Sad to hear. Prayers and hope.

Staying positive is the first step. You have that covered.

I survived a stage 4,though not the brain in version. I do know someone who did survive a similar diagnosis to yours. People do get past this, as horrifying as it is.

I thought i was a gonner 5 years ago and sold my plane. Now i have a better one.

Stay strong, do what the docs say, and keep moving forward.

Rock on!

Sorry to here this. If you need any help with the guns, I’m an FFL and would be happy to help.. or even just buy a few interesting ones.

Very sad news, indeed. When you are battling stage 4 cancer there are other things in life that take priority other than hobbies such as flying, boating, motorcycling. He may pop up in the future if he comes out of this fiasco free of cancer. He needs your prayers.

This is sad. @G-Man Do you know anything?

I PMed Mtns2Skies Friday when I was thinking of him.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard from him since June when I met him. And I don't know his last name, so haven't been able to keep an eye on things.

It's very sad, indeed.

It's my understanding that ColoradoBlueSky has flown West. Tailwinds and blue skies.
