Bro do you even lift
you’re walking past an ATM machine and you spot money in it. turns out it’s 20 bucks. what do you do. asking for a friend.

Isn't there a slot right on the machine, to insert superfluous bills?

I take it into the bank and tell them somebody left some of their money and might come back asking for it. I'm no fun.:(

Give it to someone who can explain what an Automated Teller Machine Machine is?

I thought ATM Machines were the things that make ATM's, which are then deployed to hand out $20 bank notes to @eman1200's mythical friends.

[Note: I firmly believe Eric has friends. But I don't believe there are machines making ATMs or any of that stuffs]

Invest it and give the interest to charity in 30 years?

WHAT bank? it's an ATM that can be used by anyone who has money in any number of banks. I hear that you're 'trying' to do the right thing, but really that doesn't make any sense to me.

So that’s what happened to that $20 I’m missing. Please hold onto it for me. You can give it to me at the next southeast flyin.

It's not redundant. I sent you a link to the machine that makes ATM's therefore it's an ATM Machine.

Fair enough... Show me the twenty and I'll split it with ya.

Even better, I'll give you ten dollars. What good is half of a twenty?!?

@FlySince9 - you know what you get when you tip a pole dancer $1?

a big red palm print on your face and an escort to the parking lot who doesn't care if your feet are under you.

[Note: I have no direct evidence this is true... my "friend" told me]

I’m not talking lap dance... that’s not a tip, that’s payment for professional services...

Well ironically enough, I actually had this situation happen (or similar).

I was in Publix a couple of weeks ago and while in line, I look over to where the lottery tickets are sold. There’s a vending machine and a place to fill out a Powerball. On the counter where you can fill out a Powerball ticket was two scratch off lotto tickets laying there. They were unattended the whole time I was in line, and there wasn’t anyone around. I went by on my way out the door and figured, ‘eh they must be losers’, well I take a look at them just for the heck of it and one happened to be a $20 winner and the other was a free ticket.

So, it was my lucky day. I got a free $20 bucks!

Lesson of the day: Never assume that those scratched off lotto tickets you find laying around are always duds. Check them!

The ones I always use are attached to the bank. I don't trust unattached ones. If it's an unattached one I guess it would be unlikely to find the owner. In that case I might keep it.

And here I was under the impression that cash is out of style. :)

finders keepers... You know something strange happened to me the other day... I was driving home from work... traffic was kinda slowing down approaching a traffic light. I noticed a guy walking in a narrow parking lot put his hand in his pocket for something and when he pulled it out I saw what looked like a bill fall to the ground... I was going slow enough to toot my horn to get his attention and pointed toward the object... he turned around, walked back and picked it up... with a big smile on his face he held it up and stretched it out so that I could see what looked to be a $50 bill...

Give it to the next homeless guy. Seriously

It still has its purposes. Strippers. Hookers. Drug deals. Hit men. Political bribes. Buying burner phones. Non certified flight instructors.

I would donate it to Charity.

Those things are under a lot of cameras. I’m willing to bet you take it and not report you might be breaking a law. Sure the person who didn’t get their 20 will complain and bank will look into. Then see your friends rosy cheeks snagging the bill

meh. I, I mean my friend isn't too worried about that. if they tracked a person down it means they know exactly who was foolish enough not to count their money before leaving the ATM money dispensing machine machine so their $20 could be returned to them. heck, even with interest.
