Hi, I have a very gently used FlyThisSim for sale. It's a touch trainer VX with the Cessna throttle. $5500 obo. Shipping we can figure out. I'm in NYC. It cost $8100 plus $600 for the throttle. It's amazing, but I moved and don't have room for it. Touch_Trainer_visx_banner.jpg.883602394f6bf42ac47273e2d408410a.jpg

What do you want for it?

Nice setup. Good luck!

For thoroughness, can you include a list of what the buyer will be getting when it is unboxed? Is the software up to date?

Did yours come with any FAA documentation allowing it to be used as a authorized training device?

Hi, I've attached the bill of sale. Do you see the pdf under the photo? It has details of what it comes with. It's the same setup they are currently selling for $8100 on their website. The software is up to date. The renewal for service is almost up, but you can renew. What isn't listed is the Cessna throttle upgrade as I did that after the purchase. I don't think it has FAA documentation but the company is very helpful and can assist you with whatever you would need. It comes with everything in the photo, desk and all. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Hi, is this Touch Trainer still available?

Just noticed you posted the stock picture from the sales website. Any pictures of your actual system?

I especially like the attached "bill of sale" that clearly says ESTIMATE at the top.

I especially like the remote couching option.

Is this sim still available? if it is please reach out to me via email or and send a phone to contact.

Thank You

David

Unfortunately, the OP has not been back to PoA since November 1. So status of the sim and the sale is unknown

But welcome to PoA to yourself!

Hello, I am interested. Is it still put together? When was the last time it was used?

Thanks,

Seller has not been seen on this forum since November 1, 2018.

But welcome to PoA for your own self!

Anybody tried ordering one of these sims lately? Seems like FlyThisSim is taking money but not delivering. At least two have posted elsewhere that money taken but then nothing delivered even after many months with excuses about supply chain, new location, etc.

FlyThisSim, also known as Simavio. Interesting company. I bought their panelbuilder software in 2013. Turned out they used us as beta testers. When they ironed out (most of, the version they marooned us with still has some hickups and an incomple nav database) the kinks they stopped supporting the older version of the panelbuilder software and started selling complete sim setups. They still sell the panelbuilder software but added a zero to the price, now it’s around $1500. Software looks and functions exactly the same as the older versions but can be used with the latest versions of X-Plane11. Thought about getting the latest version for X-Plane 11 but it now looks dated compared to Air Manager, another consumer panel builder software. X-Plane 11 cost $50, Air Manager about $70. Tricked out game computer and touch screen with throttle, yoke and rudder pedals about $1800. So, for around $2000 you’ll have a desktop sim with the same IFR practice functionality as the $8,100 FTS system, just not FAA certified.
