Tailwheel - DC Area

Hello all, been gone for a while but I'm getting back into flying and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on a good place/CFI to go to for a tailwheel endorsement and BFR in the DC area. I could manage the hike to Baltimore, Virginia, or Pennsylvania for the right place. Flying in this area is far more expensive than it was back where I grew up and I'd like to get the best bang for my buck.

I've had a few lessons in tailwheels throughout the years. Cessna 140, Citabrias, Cubs, Pitts, Cessna 180 but never got the paper signed off. Ultimately, I want to get back into glider flying and be a tow pilot on the side.

I did mine at Freeway and recommend it. There's also a guy there that used to tow gliders, PM me if you want me to put you in touch.

I took an aerobatic lesson with her, Marianne Buckley, in the fall of 2016 while I was in the DC area for a wedding. It was a fun flight and found her to be a good instructor.
