Many of us have one of the apps that blocks the spam phone calls to our mobile phones.

The one I have is Robokiller.

In addition to blocking the phone calls, it also has an "AnswerBot" that will play a random script designed to keep the spam caller on the line and keep them engaged. Thus wasting their time and not bothering someone else.

On July 24, about 11:30am, Robokiller blocked a spoofed "neighborhood" call. The AnswerBot script that played was a recording of someone who wanted to name all the presidents. The telemarketer stayed with it until he caught on after 2m30s.

Below is the recording. Enjoy!

I'm gonna try that app. I get a TON of spam callers.

I had one the other day who called as AT&T. Incredibly realistic. He even sent me this temporary confirmation code (EXACTLY how AT&T does it) and from the same number AT&T does it. He hacked into my account. Thankfully I caught it very quickly and AT&T took care of it. Didn't think of an app like this.

THat is absolutely hilarious btw

Is it worth paying for?
