I have obtained advanced computer technology.

"Advanced" means a bit less primitive than 10 years ago.

First pilot license I've heard of that starts with a double 'O' ;)

Pretty cool that it runs, although it's only 26-28 years old.

My mother gave away our Apple ][ plus and it still ran. Some of the ancient computers can be worth some money when still operational.

My dad bought an Apple II. It cost something like two grand at the time. Computers have become very cheap.

Dayyyummm... that sure brings back some memories. I've been an Apple user since 1985 and have never looked back. It wasn't until the first versions of QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. that I plied it into a business that I still have to this very day.

Good luck trying to beat Oregon Trail. It's on Brutal mode on those PC's

I once had a garage full of Apple Lisas and software for them that I rescued from being sent to the dumpster by a local university. While they weren't ever worth crazy Imsai 8080 or MITS Altair money, those things fed my family for a few months while I was between jobs. A good number of them went to collectors in Japan. Occasionally I wish I'd kept one of them... but really, I don't have room (or a use) for it, and I've never really been an Apple fan since the Mac was introduced.
