Simulator time for part 61 commercial

Hi, I can't seem to find anything clear about how much simulator time, say in a Redbird, counts towards part 61 commercial?

50. It's way down at the bottom. Key word being approved.

e. The 250 hours of flight time as a pilot may include 50 hours in an approved flight simulator or training device that is representative of the single-engine or multi- engine airplane (as appropriate)

Awesome! Thanks! I'm assuming Redbird sim used for part 142 ppl and ifr is approved?
 
While the Redbird is good for instrument training, I don’t think it is a good trainer for visual maneuvers. If that is what you had in mind.
