Experimental Helicopter

Odd. I’ve never even heard of a weight shift rotary wing. No tail rotor? How’s that even work? Counter rotating blades? Looks like no collective either. Just throttle? Seems like control lag would be ugly.
 
Last pic is reassuring.....as is the three position switch ON/OFF/YAW.
 
Was thinking about picking it up for my daughter for her 17th birthday so she can learn to fly in the back yard! for only $12500 patented and MIT approved. I think that guarantees any safety concerns.

I think it guarantees safety concerns, yes. Don't know why that extra word is in there though.
