The Billy Mays(es) of PoA

A great classic from Wayne's World.

What on earth is amsoil?

Family of synthetic motor oils sold through a multi level marketing (pyramid) scheme. Had you ever met an Amsoil 'dealer' you would remember as they can't shut up about the stuff whether you are interested or not.

There's one a block away from me. Went there once and haven't been back. A small neighborhood coney makes better stuff.

They're not bad for around here. Jersey Mikes is better but closest is 30-40 minutes away. The local hoagie shops back in NJ are the best with real Italian bread. One in the my family's town, Sugar Hill, makes a killing. You don't see too many chain sandwich stores in NJ, local hoagie shops are hard to beat.

I used to work with one of those. He always wore an amsoil hat, had stickers all over his toolbox and his truck, and would not stfu. Worse than amway types.

Yep. Amazing product. Stupid distribution technique and model.

It’s all I used in my race car. I had no idea that they were a pyramid scheme until I signed up as a “preferred customer” and got their materials on becoming a dealer.

So technically, I am actually part of the scheme but I do not really sell the stuff. Although if you do want to get it at preferred customer rates I could do it.

I do not work for Hershey's, but....

Carl's Jr ??????? Not familiar with them......could you perhaps post a YouTube video of one of their ads to introduce us to their menu?????

Mostly in the South I believe, same company that owns Hardees.

I know enough FF fanboys in real life to have a hard time believing that the ones here are paid shills. Not sure which other products OP is talking about.

Commercials with a healthy dose of T&A and bikinis...not that there's anything wrong with that, in moderation of course.

They’ve actually abandoned that marketing strategy and are going respectable.

I'm curious, what could possibly be LESS respectable? ;)

It'd be pretty interesting to see an entire corporation get sued for sexual harassment.

Ain't never seen a Carl's Jr. east of Texas. You got any of 'em up in Birmingham? The only difference I noticed between them and Hardee's, purveyors of fine French cuisine, is the sides. Does Carl's Jr even have biscuits in the morning?

I've told more than one western desert type that it's obvious it ain't run by a Southerner, or it'd be Carl Jr's . . . .

No Carl's that I know of. Never been to one either.

BTW the Tide Rolled tonight! Ballsy putting the freshman QB in the 2nd half, overdue IMO.

@timwinters you can feel free to report those posts. To be honest I'm not sure who you're referring to, but there are a lot of posts I don't see.

Think he is referring to Bradley W who tries to sell everyone on X Plane 10 hehe
