Yes, time flies. She finally bough herself some acting lessons and is a little better in front of the camera.
Hoping that this reboot is at least halfway decent. X-files were unbelievably popular back when. (of course except for the crappy last season or two)

The answer is that the writers still haven't pulled their heads out of their azzes and the acting and camera work have really gone downhill.
We had to turn it off after first 1/2 hour, it was unwatchable.
Pretty sad, given the history of popularity.

Damn- sounds like it still isn’t like the old shows. Is Chris Carter doing these, or someone else? I’m at work. I was planning on watching the first episode when I get home. Guess I’ll pass... I’d rather wonder than be totally disappointed.

I just got done with the third episode. I agree the new season is not the greatest and the scenes for the upcoming fourth episode look weird. I will keep watching them though as I don't hate it.
I do have to say that since the seasons are so far out from the originals, I do not remember much of the big alien conspiracy and I feel like I am missing things that I have seen in the past. I feel like I should have rewatched prior seasons before this one.
