Colorado POA BBQ

Old tires and dated jokes about @Everskyward coming to NC to pick me up aside, there is a possibility I can make it if it's Saturday Jan 13 and someone can pick me up at KAPA.

I would have an even longer flight these days, coast to coast, with no airplane.
 
I'm back in CO mid January (with big news if all goes well) planned return date is Jan 8th but may be later.

I know about the coast. That's why I wrote "dated." :D

But, without an airplane, boy your arms would be really tired!

If the date ends up working, that would be great. And, perhaps obviously (and for anyone who jumps in), picking me up can be by car on the way to an airport. I won't be far from I-25 and Arapahoe.
 
I used to live there, but on a Saturday nearly anything is possible.

Airplane *should* be back from the avionics shop by then. Who knows.

Good lord the week flew by. No pun intended.

I honestly had forgotten about Saturday. If we are talking this Saturday. But it’s as good an excuse as any to go play with the new GPS.

If you want a ride to my hangar and thence via Skylane to BJC Mark, you’re more than welcome.

We’ll see if the battery weakness we expected (and got) after parking it in the cold in Alamosa rears it’s ugly head again.

If it does, you’d have to put up with a car ride across town in the ancient Subaru as a backup plan. Ha. Because I can’t get a new battery on a Saturday from our vendor and they’d want to charge it anyway. Ha.

But she’s been in the warm-er hangar and was flown for a couple of hours earlier this week, so I suspect she’ll start just fine.

Now scrolling back up to see if anyone mentioned what time...

Not that I wouldn’t fly up to BJC this Saturday but I think I have plans to fly Sunday already.

Nailed down plans. About as nailed down as Jello anyway. Ha.
 
I'll be there! I would fly in... but not much point if the rental plane is based at BJC ;)
 
Okay, back to the original plan. Two pm on Saturday, January 13 at E's Good Eats at KBJC.
It'll be a great event with lots of attractions:
Meet The Monkey! See Midlife Flyer! Debate DenverPilot! Toast the absent Everskyward!

Murphey, can you please get a count on Thursday and make a reservation for us?

Definitely...by 2 tho, shouldn't be a problem. The CPA crowd will have cleared out and we can take over the tables.

Those attending, or think about showing up, pleae PM me no later than Friday afternoon the 12th.
