Christmas Vacation for my entire family. Everyone loves it! Well we do anyway, usually we'll watch it Christmas Eve.

Loved White Christmas when I was a kid. Watched it last year, the first time in a long time. Brought back fond memories. I still get a kick out of Christmas Story, but my kids say it's racist. "Fa-ra-ra-ra-ra." Lol

Grinch. The real one, not Jim Carey screwing with it.

That or Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

Miracle on 34th St.

The original only, please. The 1994 remake is flat and humorless.

If you don't choke up when Kris starts singing to the orphaned little Dutch girl, in Dutch, you have no soul.

Some good movies there. Just finished watching White Christmas with my wife.

Nothing like a James Bond marathon, it's at least useful to tie up the TV and deflect those corny Hallmark movies (ugh)

Well, then I suggest you read the definition of "racist" to your kids. That word gets thrown around way too much these days.

rac·ist - showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another.

None of that is apparent in Christmas Story which is alternated each year by It's a Wonderful Life. This year it's IAWL.

They never heard that from me. Liberal arts education, you know, and they know everything. I hear the same about the old cowboy movies and serials. I just laugh. They'll either wise up on their own, or they won't.

I didn't mean for that to sound preachy at all. The written word is almost always misinterpreted. So if I did offend you, I meant it the other way. My point being that I've heard many people use the word "racist" in the wrong context but you're right, you can't teach them anything.

The "Hogfather" has been our family Christmas Eve movie since 2006.

I thought you were kidding, sheesh. That type of “education” will eventually outlaw laughing.

I wasn't offended. :D

The Lion in Winter.

What family doesn't have it's problems? Kate Hepburn at her best.

Here is a new one that I think will become one of my all time favorites, it just showed up on Netflix:

El Camino Christmas

It is quirky and has a poignant ending.

Charlie Brown Christmas.

Several, actually.

“We’re No Angels”
“It Happened On Fifth Avenue”
“Christmas In Connecticut” (original only)
“The Bishop’s Wife” and the remake “The Preacher’s Wife”

Every year our family watches “White Christmas” while decorating the tree.

Of the animated shows, nothing holds a Christmas candle to Charlie Brown.
