Hey all,
New guy who has long admired airplanes and the industry. Found a wonderful thread about PPL training and decided to join. I aspire to fly commercially.

Other info:
I play electric bass and love jazz; lifelong Alaskan man; parent and husband.

Hi Twinjet, I think there are a few Alaskans on the board, welcome.
I noticed your username! Expect a PM soon.
I like your avatar.
Thanks, wish I could give credit but I have no idea who drew it up. Combines one of my favorite jets, the Boeing 777, with humor. Perfect!

Thanks, everyone. Much obliged.

Welcome! Please keep your seatbelt fastened and ensure your tray table and seat back are in the fully upright and locked position. Enjoy the ride.

Welcome bass man! Love bottom myself, played a little bass back in the mid 60s, wasn't any good though, and then Unc Sam came a calling....

You'll enjoy the site, ask anything you like, wealth of experience on here. If someone can't answer your question we'll just make something up for ya. ;)

Thanks for the warm welcome, always great to chat with another low-ender.

Before you even ask...the answer is "Bo".

Now that's out of the way, Welcome!

Welcome aboard, New Guy!

I slap a little bass myself. I mean, the bass isn't actually little....well.... unless it's a short scale, and I don't actually slap it........er......you know what I mean
