Located in the Atlanta West Metro

TT: 4699

TBO:2699

Useful load: 899 LB

This Mooney was previously owned by Pat Epps and the maintained by the maintenance department at Epps Aviation. The aircraft was re-manufactured at the Mooney factory in Texas in 2003. The engine, prop, panel, fuel tanks, and the interior were all re-done. The exterior was also repainted as well as the inside of the fuselage. I purchased the aircraft last Christmas and have put over 150 hours on it this year. It has all the gap seals and all J model mods.

Looking for two partners in 1/4 shares. Aircraft is based at 20GA and will NOT be re-located since myself and the new partner are close to the current airport. Looking to sell each share at $12,500. Monthly cost at the current airport would be $200 a month per share and a run cost of $35 an hour. Gas is currently $3.58 a gallon. Also, the airport has a mechanic on site that does the work on the plane.

Current insurance requires the following, IR rating, 750 total time, 150 in retracts, and 10 hours in make and model. If you do not have this a checkout by a CFI that meets this requirement is required.

If you have any other questions let me know.

interesting. (not 'interested', just...interesting.)

Were I in that part of the country I'd be all over that. Nice looking aircraft.

Just to clarify, it's been 2685 since major overhaul?

2699 since major overhaul, I miss typed 2685, appolgize for that. I've corrected the post to reflect this. Nothing wrong with engine, fires right up when you start and burns a quart of oil every 25 hours.

cool. you've got me beat, but just barely. Mine is at 2653

The pics look like maybe an S-Tec 50 instead of a 55.

Interesting plane, and Stockmar (20GA) is a nice small airport. Just wish it wasn't a 40 min drive in good traffic. Heck, I can't get most people interested in FTY. Stockmar is much cheaper though, hangar and fuel.

Curious: Is the $200/mo for the hangar per share, or total? Private hangar or shared?

It is per share, and covers the monthly hangar, annual fund, GPS subscription, and puts some back for the avionics upgrade to WAAS.

It is a private T hangar with power and manual doors.

What altitude do you normally fly and what kind of TAS do you get?

Still looking for interested persons. Makes a good Christmas present for your self!

How long has that airport been there? I don't recall seeing it before when I was at KATL.

It’s been there at least 15-20 years I think. It’s been paved for 10.

I'll be. As much as I've flown over that area for 24 years never saw it, nor when I drove thru Villa Rica. Guess I need to get out more. ;)

I looked at the airport on Google Earth, looks like a nice airport. Now if your Mooney was closer to where I is (Birmingham area) I'd be interested.

Wow - that is a beautiful plane!

One partner has purchased a share. Looking for two more.
