I'm trying to get up to Indianapolis just prior to New Years for a couple of days. KUMP is closest to where I'm heading, but also looking at KIND. Any PIREPS for this area?

Line Up and Wait
I fly up to the Indy area frequently. Depending on where I am going I will use either TYQ, UMP, or KMQJ. All are great options, but as far as being low key, UMP is the better of the three in that department. You would get great service out of any of the three though.

With the forecast of snow changing daily leading up to the trip, the need to be back no later than New Year’s Day, and an inop cabin heater, I elected to fly commercial. Glad I did as it’s colder than h.e.double-hockey sticks! Sitting at IND now waiting for my 1.5 to Atlanta, 4-hr layover, then 1.0 to Jackson. Cheaper than flying myself, but is taking a LOT longer!
