Wanna Job at Waffle House?

Now that is awesome. I would like to think in that situation I would do the same.
 
I used to have an employee who was a real eager to please sort of guy. We were sitting in a mexican restaurant and I push the bowl towards him and say "Al, run into the kitchen and get us more chips." He didn't even hesitate.
 
Yeah, but ratting out the sleeping employee was kind of low.

As for WH...not bad food for a diner, but kind of pricey for what you get. Cracker Barrel is less expensive and delicious!
 
Gotta love the Awful Waffle, good enough for me and pretty cheap IMO.

Ah forgot about Huddle House. Bunch of them in GA. There's one about 15 minutes away, might be a little bit better than WH. But then, how hard is it to **** up an egg? :D

Waffle House late at night is hard to beat. Except nutrionally; road kill is probably better for you but requires additional prep work, already done at The House. Seems there's one at every other interstate exit in Georgia, plus some scattered through town.
 
Well...at least they're all not (quite) as bad as Lambert's.

My old signature tag line (I think it still is over at Red):

"Friends don't let friends eat at Lambert's" ~~ Tim Winters

If the food served at these places doesn't gross you out then the people eating at these places certainly should; especially Lambert's; average BMI in that place is...like...5000. They throw the rolls because they can't walk down the aisles, they are all blocked by the fat overflowing from the chairs.

Two am, an interstate exit in the south and I am hungry. Suddenly Waffle House looks like gourmet food.
 
Anytime I need an engine oil change, I go to Waffle House or Cracker Barrel and get a take out, even if they don’t have a carry out container. Just tilt the plate over the fill tube and good to go.
