Well...going to have to replace our King KI-201C VOR/LOC. Seems to just be one thing after another.

I am thinking we will just replace it with another KI-201C as they are cheap. Thought I would at least see what you guys recommend?

That's plane ownership.

Just replace with a 201C. Should find one for a hundred bucks or so.
 
There’s a reason you can buy them so cheaply.
 
But changing to another indicator without other major panel work would be sheer stupidity. Spending 4 figures on an indicator would be crazy. You can get a basic /G for that money.
