Oh, in that case, carry on.He finds that particular food combination objectionable, allegedly for health, safety, and environmental reasons.

Only food that goes on a bagel is cream cheese and smoked salmon.
Peanut butter works. When you hungry at 5-6am and nothing open at the airport, better than nothing.
Since when have you been at an airport, much less at 5 am?
Just kidding. I'm sure you had your share of red-eye flights back in the day.
I have recently learned I don't actually like broccoli all that much. Butter makes it tolerable. Intense freshness and steamness makes it tolerable. That frozen **** in the ******ned plastic bags from the freezer section makes me ill. Plus @Clark1961 seems to have launched a campaign to discredit my rants.

As for @RJM62 tendency to mix dangerous substances, he does so at the world’s peril. One miscalculation and there will be an eruption of biblical proportions. He is walking a fine line.

By the way, Rich, you're "egg fact" #8 isn't quite accurate...it is more applicable to store bought eggs. Fresh eggs, left unwashed, can remain on a counter for a week or more and not spoil. I do it all the time, but I only get a few eggs at a time so they seldom last over 4 or 5 days. I think the flavor is better when they're left out. Could be all in my mind though.
If I lived in the south without AC I might not do this!
Gotta have capers and onions and tomoatoes on that though!!!
Damn that just made me hungry.

Even store bought eggs can be left out as long as the shells are whole. I generally like the way room temperature eggs cook so I usually leave a couple eggs out on the counter.
